The Vannoy Men

Here are four VANNOY men! Watch out! We've distinguished out that its a true "Vannoy Trait" that if you are grumpy - you must be hungry. When I am with the "Vannoy Men" and they are grumpy - we will quickly stop and EAT! It works every time! (Terry is laughing; she's Bob's wife - she knows this is true, huh!)

We were able to stop and visit Kyle's dad, Terry and the puppies (Terry is a dog breeder!) in Glen Rose this summer. Here the boys are at Fossil Rim and the hotel in Glen Rose. It's always great to get together with family!

These projects were made as wedding gifts. Thank you card-flats and envies - all in the couple's wedding colors. This 12x12 bag was made to hold up to 12 cards, but at our last Stamp A Stack stamp camp - we put 20 cards in the bag - no problem (but no envies!). Here is a link to the 12x12 bag. 12x12 box & cards
This was a CASE project by Angie Juda (mark her website - she is AWESOME!) Let me know how your project turns out!

Stamp a Stack - Christmas Cards

As promised, here's a picture of the 4 Christmas cards that we made during the "Christmas in July" Stamp a Stack - Stamp Camp. Each "Stamping Queen"completed 5 of each style of cards - total of 20 cards + envelopes (envies)! These are my cards - Stephanie Harbin did all the designing, planning & preparation for each of the sessions - she did an awesome job! As she would say, KUDOS, Stephanie!!

"Christmas in July" Stamp Camp

Imagine with me... HOT summer day (105 degrees) and my crazy family is decorating for Christmas - hanging lights, christmas tree, ornaments, christmas music playing - We did this in July... and here's the kicker - Kyle comes in and changes the music to the infamous 70's group - ABBA - "loud" - now we're decorating for Christmas, in the heat, to the music of ABBA... (hee hee) it was a fun, family moment!!
Why? I was hosting a "Stamp a Stack" stamp camp for 13 "Stamping Queens" that night. My Stampin Up Demonstrator, Stephanie Harbin, came up with 4 different Christmas cards (cute, cute, cute - I will post pictures soon) to assemble. We had four sessions where you made 5 cards at each session- leaving the night with 20 cards and envies! Along with door prizes, hostess gifts and "a wealth of inspiration" We had a blast! "Ladies - I'm ready again!!" We all brainstormed different themes for future stamp camps - birthday, thank you, sympathy, get well...along with all the seasonal stuff... let me know if you are interested or Stephanie Harbin

CAMT in Dallas, Texas

CAMT is a MATH CAMP - it's held in three places in Texas; once a year - rotation each year. Our whole family usually packs up and go with KYLE. Kyle goes to every workshop and then at night we play, eat and shop! During the day, the boys and I hang out by the pool and chill. We watch "cable" (we don't have cable at home; so it's a big thing to get more than six channels!) We all had a GREAT time!
