"Bleaching" Technique
This weekend, I tried a "bleaching" technique in card-making - it's bleaching out the color in designated spots on your card stock. On the green Easter card; the details on the large egg are bleached. Also just stamped an image using bleach and a rubber stamp - then cleaned the stamp REALLY WELL! All it takes is an aqua-painter, bleach, and an embossed image (I used black) - I completed several "bleached" project. Inspiration came from watching the video tutorials of Gina K from "Stamp TV" - Have you seen this website or "webworld"? WOW! Learned A LOT! Check it out if you're a crafter - you will be glad that you did! (Please excuse my photo taking - it is very POOR - sorry!)
You can also take some stamp images and put bleach on a paper towel. DON'T DROWN it, just enough to get it good and wet. NOT a DETAILED STAMP. But one with less detail. And you can stamp that image in bleach. Another one. I embossed an image of a wedding dress, then I used bleach inside of the embossed image. IF I can find this image, I will send you my card! It is so cool! Way to go! Be creative!
that was gonna be my next Technique!!
ReplyDeleteAaaaah! Good! Then you can help me... not sure that I'll use it much... but with INSPIRATION from you - maybe so!
