New Crochet Project for 2025

This year, I am putting two of my favorite hobbies together - Reading and Crocheting!

I'm posting this now to keep me "on track" and focused on this new adventure!

I'm planning to crochet a simple granny square inspired by the book's front cover that I'm reading.  I'm hoping to read 48 books this year -making a blanket of 6x8 squares.  We shall see!

Here is my beginning row, so far!

If you have a recommendation of what to read, please let me know.  I like all types of genres of reading!

Thank you for stopping by and allowing me to share my new crocheting project with you.  Remember though those you love the most... until next time!

The 2024 Christmas Advent Calendar Crocheted Blanket

This year for a Christmas present, Kyle (my husband) gifted me a crochet Advent Calendar!

This was a Crochet Society CAL (Crochet-A-Long) project presented in an advent calendar style.

Each day for December, a box was opened to reveal a skein of yarn, a fun token or tool for crocheting, and a new stitch to create a "Carnival Blanket".

This was an AWESOME gift!  I often was "catching up" on days, but it was a fun and productive project.  I learned a lot of new stitches with crocheting this blanket!

Thank you for stopping by and allowing me to share my Christmas blanket with you.  Remember to hug those you love the most... until next time!
