2012 Graduations

These last 2 weeks have been filled with graduations all over the United States!  

What an awesome celebration to have to honor the graduates for their hard work and persistence to finish the journey!

Last week was our family's - "DUO Graduation Trip" - KV and I both had nieces graduating on the SAME day - (Sunday) in different towns! So we each grabbed a son and took our mothers & family to the graduation in separate directions for Memorial Day weekend!

KV and Aric attended Madison's graduation from Birdsville HS (Fort Worth, Tx).  
Family celebrated before the ceremony with a dinner at Rosa's honoring Madison.

Alex and I traveled to Lubbock to attended Amber's graduation from Frenship HS at the United Spirit Arena at TTU - here's her pic from the jumbo-tron TV!

Family celebrated the night before with a dinner at Joe's Crab Shack!


Of course, we had to have a friendly competition of "Who could find the most geocaches" over the weekend..  

Team Kyle got 7 caches and Team Mel got 6 caches - but one cache was a FTF (first to find!) - so it was a tie!

This post wouldn't be complete without a picture from the Childress High School graduating Class of 2012!  So proud of these students - most of these students, we've had for all 4 years at CHS!  Time to celebrate!  Best Wishes Graduates!

Now!  It's official - Summer can begin! YAHOO!  As a teacher, these next 2 1/2 months are the BEST part of our job!
