On June 5, our youngest son
turned into a teenager -
13 years old!
Due to a VERY hectic schedule - his birthday "Pool Party" wasn't until June 25!
We celebrated Aric's birthday with a few of his friends - with everyone's schedule being so busy with church camps, all-star baseball play offs and vacations - we were lucky to have this many kids to celebrate with!
Unfortunately, the city pool was experiencing some MAJOR plumbing problems - as you can see from the color of the water (GREEN) - it was safe, but still very cloudy to see through! The city has closed the pool for several days to fix the problem - I know that the kids of C-Town are anxiously waiting for the reopening of the pool! The pool manager is graciously giving us another day for a pool party with "clear" water - that's scheduled for next week when HOPEFULLY the pool is fixed. Here's some pictures from the par-ty!
So proud of Alex, he received his Paderewski Memorial Gold Medal in achievement of playing in the National Piano Playing Auditions for 10 years! This medal comes form the Austin Headquarters of the American College of Musicians - very excited for him to achieve this goal!
