February Card Swap 2012

Hello! Hope this post finds you
GREAT
and feeling good today!

Our monthly "Sip 'n Swap Card Swap" met and again produced some fabulous cards! The theme was a "Get Well" card along with the challenge of a stamped image, bling, and a decorated envelope.

Here the cards are for this monthly swap:

Card artists included: Margie Robinson, Renee Lambert, Amber Smith, Marie Haile, Melissa Vannoy, Kimberly Hickman, Angie Husband and April Vasquez.

Also, at the Crop Shop (owned and operated by Renee Lambert) on Sunday - she and our local Stampin' Up demonstrator - Stephanie Harbin; along with other community members organized and held a Card Making Benefit for a local child that has leukemia (A.L.L.) - Conner Grayson. 3 cards were made at different stations along with refreshments for a small fee that all went to the Grayson foundation. Here are the cards that were made at this benefit:

For more info on Conner Grayson or to purchase a wristband "Praying for Conner Grayson" click at this link on facebook! One of the MANY reasons that I love living in a small town - love the support and care that we have for each other... This is such a sweet family that is going through such a tough time with their son suffering with this cancer. Please pray for Conner and his family!

One last thing! Check out this BLING on my friend, KIMBERLY - isn't this the CU-TEST scarf and it's bling (s) that are totally interchangeable...
Love, love - LOVE this idea!
I don't wear jewelry (not even a wedding band) but I do wear necklaces and scarves... here this is 2-in-1 Scarf/necklace! AWESOME!

Putting this on my blog, so I can also PIN IT on pinterest! Have you tried pinterest yet? Even my mom, GING, has tried and likes it! LOL! Here's a link here, if needed to PINTEREST!

Thanks for stopping by! We are finishing out the week and then headed to Midland to support our basketball team and also getting some GRACE time with my cousin's ADORABLE daughter - can't wait! Hope you are well and enjoying the sunshine outside! Spring is here!

Remember to hug the ones you love, until next time...
