4-H Food Workshop

Tuesday, we held our County 4-H Food Workshop. My boys gave a presentation on the "Rainbow Diet"! How many fruits and vegetables do you eat daily? Five different fruits and vegetables are recommended! The color of an average meal that an American eats is brown - think Hamburger, french fries or chips - fried
burrito or corn dog - macaroni 'n cheese... adding COLOR to your diet can add nutrients and vitamins to your diet... Andy started this study about 6 years ago and now Alex and Aric are picking it up and moving on. For once, the boys worked well together and did a good job. Except County Food Show is SUNDAY - argh!!! Thought it was in November... OMG! I'm stressing out - and Alex is suppose to be in a talent show Saturday night - and he's not ready. He's been practicing "In the Mood" on the piano - a very difficult piece. With homework, flag football, piano, 4-H, church, LIFE - I wonder if we putting too much pressure on our boys. In general, they are used to being busy... but are we too busy? Hmmmm! Something more to stress about... hahaha! I'm sure that I am not alone - how do you handle this? Help! (: Rest? or Rust?

You sound just like Lynsi. Her kids signed up for the food show at the last minute....all three of them! They are in scouts, 4-H, flag football, Erynn takes gymnastics, the boys are going to have pigs, they go to church activities....Erynn is also in the talent show. It makes me tired just thinking about it...but they all love it! I guess I'm just too old. Your boys are so cute.
