Make, Bake or Grow

Since the late 1990's, our "Career Club", each club member, at Christmas, would "Make, Bake or Grow" a gift for everyone - exchanging gifts - we would each return home with a number of homemade gifts!  Monday night is this year's gift exchange.  I'm diligently trying to finish my gifts.  It's a CD cased Desk Calendar that is hand-stamped.  I cased the project here at this clever crafter's blog (July 28 post) .  Catherine shares a pdf. of each month (w0w)  - just print and stamp!  I ordered the CD cases from the business that she suggested - the service was great; CDs here in 3 days!
I had to make a holder or box for the Calendar... found this template here.  This blog "Timeless Templates" is awesome.  Lauren's  personal blog is  here, she gives away 2 templates a month and also has templates to sell, along with wonderful ideas and how-to's...!  I made the "Music Makeover" template for the holder of the CD Desk calendar.  So!  If you have any left-over CD cases... here's a template to use and ideas to RECYCLE it into a wonderful, unique gift - think Christmas gift...!  'Tis the Season!  All of these blogs were very helpful.
Hope the ladies like these calendars.  Each year, I can make refills of the following year and continue the gift ... or that's the intention!  Because of the TIME ELEMENT (this element cancels
most of my wonderful ideas...(excuse) ), anyways, I hand-stamped one copy - copied on special paper on a color copier all the others... YES, I cheated (sort-of), but I did add embellishments and glitter individually - so they were original creations, after all.  What do you think? Would you use this?  I like to make "functional" projects - USE IT! Otherwise, it'll draw dust... and I HATE to dust...     I'll share later all the other "Make, bake or grow" gifts that I receive!  Hope you have a great day!  Thanks for stopping by!
