Happy Veteran's Day!

We did it! My students made 73 cards for the "Card for a Cause" program - this month's cause was for "Operation: Quiet Comfort" - the non-profit organization that cares for wounded soldiers. More info on OQC you can find here. My students created patriotic colored 4x5 cards with either Thinking of You, Thank You or Get Well Soon and a heart-felt handwritten message inside, starting out with "Dear Hero...". We'll send these cards to
Splitcoaststampers to join all the other cards made and then they send them on to OQC.

that is cool. we'll make sure even more people know about it by getting it in The Index Friday. which, by the way, the photos you sent me came through backwards.

Those are so cute. My elementary kids are doing Holiday cards tomorrow. I'm taking my seniors over there with me to help out since I have K - 3 altogether and they are wanting to make cards too!! Thanks for letting me know about this. Your blog is one of my favorites!!!

That is a great idea! Look at you stampin' in class...it's like me with blogging! If you love it, why not share it with your kids and let them learn while they (and you) have fun!

You are so stinkin' lucky! You get paid to stamp and make cards. I am so jealous. I wish you had invited a guest stamper to come over and show some techniques!!! All I get to do is prepare kids to take the TAKS test. Bummer. You know I love you bunches, but I am so jealous. Most of all, what a great project. You are amazing!
