One Week until Halloween!

There is only one week until Halloween! Although, my boys are
older - it's still fun to decorate and cook Halloween treats! Hope you are well and you are enjoying the fall season!
Here's a "Happy Halloween" card project for the season.
It's entered into the following challenge:
Challenge #135: Black, orange, purple and Scary Too. - Also something that pops up/out
when you open it!
Challenge #133; picture trigger (to the right side)
Challenge #53: Black & Orange

Here's the inside of the card. It's a pop-out with a mummy & pumpkin when you open the card!
Challenge # 25 - Just Add Color; CFC25 use any medium to add color to your stamped image - I used copic markers!
Challenge #10 - Something Spooky!
Challenge #144 - Halloween
Challenge #19 - Spooky
Challenge #12 - I Brake for Halloween

Now! Here is a recipe swap in Halloween style! Fixed this recipe this weekend while we FINALLY decorated the house with Halloween decorations. Got the recipe here at the website - and highly recommend it to you!
Halloween Popcorn Mix
1 - 24oz block Vanilla almond bark
2 - 3 oz bags regular microwavable popcorn
1 - bag candy corn, harvest candy corn mix, peanuts and m & ms

Pop the popcorn and remove any UN popped kernels. Place popcorn in a large bowl and set aside. Unwrap the almond bark and break into smaller pieces. Add the almond bark to a microwavable bowl and melt on the
DEFROST setting on your microwave. Don't use the cook or reheat setting or you will cook the almond bark instead of melting it. Try 2 minute intervals and stir. When the almond bark is completely melted and smooth; pour it over the popcorn. Using a large spoon mix together coating all of the popcorn. Lay out the popcorn on a piece of waxed paper until popcorn is dry. When dry break into smaller popcorn size pieces and add back to a large bowl. Add candies and nuts - ENJOY! Watch out! Very addicting... can't stop after one hand full!

Thanks for stopping by! I always close my post with "remember to hug the ones you love the most" - this weekend, our small town lost a young man in a tragic car accident. He was a 2011 graduate from Childress High School and I have his younger brother in class now. It's so hard to lose someone you know and care about - my prayers go out to this family for strength, peace and comfort. Our whole town is mourning - his brother said it best, "I never knew that would be the last time to talk to him..." We don't know how long we will be on this earth together. Life is too short. Please - grab and hug the ones you care about - tell them! And I'm telling YOU - thanks for stopping by and ENJOY life! You are special!

Remember to hug the ones you love the most - until next time...

Love the design of this halloween card. That witch on the front look great sitting on the broom and with bats flying around her. The DP makes it perfect for halloween. The inside has a lovely pop out mummy that looks a bit scary, so you've just nailed the challenge at Stamptacular;) Thanks for joining us and good luck. Hope to see you back sunday for a new challenge. Could you please consider turning off word verification? Bettina xx
