Cake Mix Alteration - Recipe Swap

Hello!  This week's recipe swap is one that is a "semi-homemade" recipe! It's how to enhance your cake mix recipe!  And BOY! does it work - I've used it only a dozen or more times...  I don't think I will ever make it the original way again - seriously!

OF COURSE, it's a PINTEREST find and it WORKS!  There were many links that went along with this recipe - so I was confused to who to give the credit to, I am sorry!

You take your selected cake mix - it can be ANY cake mix.  My favorite is Duncan Hines' French Vanilla (YUM!)

Step 1: Look at the directions on the cake mix
Step 2: Add one more egg (or add 2 if you want it to be very rich)
Step 3: Use melted butter instead of oil
Step 4: Instead of water, use milk.
Step 5: Mix well and bake for the time recommended on the box.

Boom!  You will have a "bakery" tasting cake or cupcakes.  The batter will be thicker and "extra" delicious...  try it - I dare you!  You will be happy that you did these easy, simple alterations to enhance your next cake.

Thanks for stopping by, wishing you a GREAT day!  Remember to hug the ones you love the most, until next time...
