October Card Swaps

Hello, hello!  Can't believe that this week holds Halloween and November is just around the corner!  Time flies when you are having fun!

This Monday was our monthly Card Swap day.

I get so excited for this time!  It's like having a birthday and receiving wonderful gifts - which each card really is...  I tell my students this and they all think I'm crazy - and I am...  Oh well!

Ms. Angie even came in costume - how special is that?  She runs a preschool and wanted to share with us her Holiday dress this week!

October's challenge was to make a card with the theme of Halloween or Harvest.  One of my most favorite themes to do...
Six ladies participated this month:  Angie Husband, Margie Robinson, Maria Hale, Melissa Vannoy, Kimberly Hickman & Amber Smith.

Here the October Cards are:
Angie's card featured a "Double Z-fold" along with a Halloween spider popping out from the middle - love it!

Margie's Harvest Card has an embossed harvest scene - hand colored (of course! - Margie's speciality)

Melissa's card featured a "Slider" style technique on the front of the card:

Maria's sweet Witchy Card with "blings 'n ribbon"

Kimberly's Fall card features an accent of chunky glitter and eyelash yarn.

Amber's Halloween card features a intricate lace cut overlay on the card's background

Thanks for looking!  Our November Card Swap challenge is to complete a card using the color BROWN, something METALLIC, Eyelash yarn and a decorated envelope! Whew!  I better get started on ideas now!

Remember to hug the ones you love the most, until next time...
