During the holidays, one of the recipes most cooked is the traditional
SAUSAGE BALL,
but this year; because of "pinterest" (of course) - found a new recipe that added cream cheese to the mixture AND suggested to use the kitchen-aid with it's bread hook for easier mixing! Both suggestions are winners!
So next time you're cooking sausage balls
- try adding cream cheese and using your mixer
- KV gave it a 5 star stamp! LOL!
Sausage Balls
2 cups Bisquick Mix
1 lb. Sausage
1 cup Cheddar Cheese; shredded
8 oz. Cream Cheese
1 tsp. Sriracha (hot sauce)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In the kitchen-aid bowl with the dough hook attach - add the bisquick and sausage along with the hot sauce - mix thoroughly (this is SO MUCH easier with the mixer! Yahoo!) Then add the cream cheese - mix until well blended and then add the shredded cheddar cheese. Form into walnut-size balls and place on baking sheets. Bake for 25-28 minutes; or until the sausage is cooked through.
Thanks for stopping by - remember to hug the ones you love the most, until next time...
