This blog is about our family. Events, pictures, devotionals, ideas... things that interested us and would like to share with you.
LTC "Surprise" Trip
Our mighty, fearless leader TRICKED us! He pulled us all up into the room Saturday afternoon, after everyone's LTC events were over and announced that we would go to the Galleria Mall in Dallas for our Saturday finale' - to be ready at 7PM... THEN at 7 when we're all ready to go to the mall- he announced that we were going to the Mediveval Times WOW! It was only two business blocks away... within walking distance and all 68 of us enjoyed a super-duper AWESOMEtime. KV had been before, but our family had not... Here's some pics from the nights event - again it wasFANTASTIC! We all enjoyed a great time! (I'll post later about the "Party People vs. our Church Kids!!) If you ever get the chance to explore and experience the "Medieval Times" - do it! You will be glad that you did!
Girl, you are quick. You have much better pictures than I do! I spent over an hour creating a slide show on slide.com and lost it as I was pasting it into my blog!!!!!! I will try again later, maybe.
This blog is mainly about our family. Kyle will do a "hodge-podge" of items. Melissa will frequently post recipes, art projects, pics, card projects, articles ... and the boys...The "A Team" hmmm~ we shall see! Let us know what you think. We love to receive your comments and emails! (~:
Blogging is fun and is an outlet - I am just like you! My days are full of "to do's", morning till night. Sound familiar? When I DO find the time in the day, I love crafting - totally into paper-crafting at the moment (6 years!). That's why my blogs are often full of the projects that I'm working on. As a mom to 4 males(1 at-home son, 2 college sons and 1 husband), that time is often limited. I have been creating art items, cards, doo-das, painting, claying, anything "artsy-fartsy" ALL my life. Each one different from the last. It is something I truly enjoy.
You could even say it is a passion. Part of that passion has been sharing with others and attempting to teach them - hence my 2nd job of teaching Art in the high school and often my clubs and other groups that I'm involved in - it's just who I am. I am very lucky to be able to live in a small town and share! So! Please don't think that I'm a "kiss up" or trying to out-do someone else... I'm giving to give... I make things to give - it's just me!
