Oven Baked BBQ Pork Chops

How about some "Pork Chops"...? LOL! This week's recipe swap is a new recipe that I tried Monday night and found it to be - oh so - "Delish!" and easy... the two main factors that I look for in a recipe! LOL!

Boneless pork chops is what I cooked - KV's a "picky" eater - won't eat any thing on the bone... but I think any type of pork chop (on the bone or boneless) would work regardless! Also, on the BBQ sauce it's your choice... our favorite is Sue Haile's "Flying V" bbq sauce! But that's found only local or semi-local... if you're interest... I can hook you up with some - hee hee! Served this entree' with seasoned rice and English Peas - it was so "yummy"!

BBQ Pork Chops
Pork Chops
Salt & Pepper
Onions; sliced
Water
BBQ Sauce
In a greased baking dish, add a layer of sliced onions. Salt & pepper each side of the pork chop and lay on onions. You can add onions, on top of the pork chops, if desired. Cover pork chops & onions with water... (an odd procedure; but this adds the moisture to the pork chops). Cook at 450 degrees for 50-60 minutes. Drain the water off and add the BBQ sauce on top of the pork chops and broil 6-9 minutes in the oven. Serve with or without the onions.

These pork chops are VERY tender to the bite - YUM! Enjoy! Hope you are having a great day! Thanks for stopping by!
