May's Paper Projects

Here's a couple of projects that I've been working on during the month of May. Even though this is the busiest month, gotta have my "therapy" - it really helps me to unwind and find some relaxation...

Here's my MAY birthday card for my church family.

Can I tell you that I LOVE my cuttlebug - it's a machine that embosses and cuts designs - I used it on the focal point of this card - see the birthday cake? This is a simple card - but when your making 25... I've got to keep it

simple!

Next, are my graduation cards - " 'tis the season!" - Here are 3 that I made for family - Childress; Blue, white and red, Memphis; Black, gold and white and Birdville High School in North Richland Hills; Green, black and gold - aren't they cute? Got to make a couple of more graduation cards tonight! I really had fun with this design - it's a "swing fold" card! Here's a link for the instructions here. Once I got the hang of the technique - I was surprised that I liked it so much. I've got to do 6 for a fancy-fold card swap in July - so this was practice!

An event that I anxiously wait for each month is the Sip & Swap - card swap! 8 "talented ladies" meet and swap cards at a local restaurant - and the projects are always AWESOME! I've been doing some spring cleaning and found a
project that I ordered here called "Garden Giggles" from Gretchen B - it came w/5 baskets to make... I duplicated each and came up with 10 projects. Also I made 3x3 "Friend" cards to compliment the "punched art" baskets along w/ a bag of soft mints - can't wait to hand them out tonight! Here's a peek of the projects:

Thanks for stopping by and letting me share my projects! Hope all is well with you and yours! Remember to hug the ones you love the most - until next time...
