We survived!
Yep! There were 48 LTC participants from Childress, Tx - plus family, friends, coaches and preachers that traveled Easter weekend to Dallas, Tx for the North Texas LTC Convention at the Anatole hotel.I love the Anatole... I do! - here's a pic of the main lobby from our room on the 10th floor to show you the "floating cloud" artwork. Then a pic of Aric and KV enjoying the art from the ground floor!
The boys always enjoy this convention - they completed the projects of: bulletin board, service challenge, Bible challenge, Christian Art, puppets, drama, Bible reading and speech - this year. The LTC theme was "Extra Mile" this year. It's just getting there that is the chore - with all the projects, speeches written and so forth! LOL!
KV judged the 3rd & 4th grade girls' Bible reading Friday night.
My team were the 9th & 10th grade puppets - who did an outstanding job on Saturday!

Of course, we had to grab some geocaches! Our goal was to grab several different types of caches - we grabbed a virtual, a earth and a multi-cache along with several normal caches on Saturday in downtown Dallas - super cool!
