Hello April 2014!

The month of April has arrived safe and sound!

How are you? Hope all is well!

We've been juggling the boys activities, daily chores, along with STAAR testing at school and preparing for the LTC trip at Easter - loving SPRING time!

Both boys run in TRACK; Aric had a major set-back with a painful pulled hamstring.  He was running the sprint relay when it occurred.  Now, it's been 3 weeks and he still is hurting when bending down or over...    Alex is running well; Friday he brought home a 1st, 1st and 2nd medals from his races!  Here are some random pictures of the boys during their track season.

Alex is also manager for the CHS Baseball team and on the FFA Poultry judging team (We have high hopes to return back to State this year with this team...).  This kid is definitely keeping busy - learning to prioritize and budget his time wisely with school and college classes - I hope!  Both boys are active with the church LTC activities - our trip is in 3 weeks to the Anatole in Dallas, Texas; always a fun time for all involved!

We've also had a birthday at our house (but I wasn't suppose to mention it...) - He found this on his breakfast plate and I did make a "card in a box" for the celebration.  We did go eat some enchiladas and cheesecake... but never sang the "official" song - LOL!  "Happy birthday, Kyle Vannoy!"  I love you!

Well, that's about all for us this week.  Hope you are healthy, wealthy and wise...  Thanks for stopping by!  Next post is a Recipe Swap and that's something you NEED in your life is this cookie recipe - O.M.Goodness, it is goooood!  Check back by Friday for that!

Remember to hug the ones you love the most, until next time...
