In the Mood... for Challenges!

I have a confession... I lied.

Guess that I'm "in the mood" for challenges this week! I was able to design two more cards that fit into 3 more challenges - even when I said in the last post that this would be it for this week of challenges!

I just thought I was finished for the week. I am sorry! Time was good to me - found time to make more projects and even cleaned up my studio afterwards! YAHOO!

This card fits into 2 challenges.

First is the weekly Moxie Fab Challenge - with it's Tuesday Trigger. Love the gray and turquoise color scheme. Used gray, black and turquoise colors (but the turquoise really looks more blue in photo) in designing this card. Used a printed designer paper with lacy print in gray - inspired by the design in the dress. You can check out all the entries here and even join the fun - this is a two week challenge - so come on - you've got time!

Also this card is entered in the sketch design of "The Sweet Stop" blog challenge using this sketch #39 or challenge SSS129 - I turned the sketch side-ways! So - using the above color scheme - I included this layout - including a black dyed flower, glitter, brads, ribbon, embossed vellum for the semi-circle and a retired '07 SU stamp for the focal point.

You can entered this one also - entries will be taken until Friday

Check the projects out here!

My second and LAST project for the week is a "gate-fold" card featuring a Fall Theme along with a paper-pieced scarecrow. This card is entered in the Fall Color Challenge over at Our

Creative Corner. Here are the colors to use in the project. These colors are Stampin Up colors - which I was excited to have - using a Old Olive designer paper for the card with a neutral taupe for the background. Old Olive designer paper and scraps for the scarecrow - the background forthe "gate-fold" focal point is chocolate chip. Cheeks and nose are some Cajun Craze patterned paper and the ribbon and "catch" embellishment in the Pool Party!

Okay! That's it for this week on projects and challenges. Next on the agenda is football, annual fund raiser supper for 4-H along w/ the flag presentation at the Friday night ball game, flag football on Saturday and 4-H Food Show on Sunday! ARGH! Wish us luck - we're going to need it!

Thanks for stopping by! Have a wonderful end of the week and weekend! Stay safe and remember to hug the ones you love the most! Until next time...

Seriously, how do you do all this? I am happy at the end of the day if I have kept my 2 children alive and taught the future of America something semi-productive. When you decide to retire, you should open a small kiosk at the mall and sell cards - they are awesome! Have a great Friday!
